Join the Salina Area Coalition for Trafficked Persons as Lydia Lund and Janie Ford present on the Role of Family in the Recovery of Human Trafficking Survivors.
What does trauma recovery look like in the context of family? As victims of human trafficking are identified there is an increased need for foster families, residential homes, and mentors. Often survivors experience early abuse and exploitation through family systems. We need to be equipped from a trauma informed perspective to walk alongside survivors, embracing them into our hearts and homes. We will look at practical ways we can come alongside both minors and adults through authentic loving relationship.
