Freedom - Protection - Restoration

Our mission is to see survivors receive inner healing from the trauma of victimization, abuse, sexual exploitation, and human trafficking.

Inner healing empowers survivors not only to break free but stay free.

Survivors may be physically free from victimization but freedom of spirit empowers them to stay free.

Breaking the cycle of victimization through belonging and restoration of soul.

We are committed to cultivating safe spaces for a survivor to heal and grow.

Our History

Shelter and Rain was founded in September, 2017. Shelter and Rain has been involved in many anti-trafficking initiatives across the US. They were instrumental in launching the Salina Area Coalition for Trafficked Persons, partnering with non profits in California to open a residential home for adult survivors, and cultivating restorative relationships with foster youth who were survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. Shelter and Rain currently networks within Wichita, Kansas, and the Central Coast of California to mentor survivors towards healing and growth. Shelter and Rain cultivates inner healing for survivors through the context of restorative relationships.
